The paperwork, in the same plain words as the product

Three documents a procurement or security reviewer will ask for. The conformance clause sits in the terms, not in a footnote.

Terms of service

v4 · 2 Sep 2026

The parts that decide what you are buying. Everything here is written to be readable by the person who signs it, not only by a lawyer.

1

What the service is

Conforma scans the web pages you nominate on a schedule, maps the findings to EN 301 549 clauses and WCAG success criteria, tracks them across runs and produces reports and archives from the result. The service is a measurement and record-keeping tool.

2

What the service is not

It is not a certification body, an audit firm or a remediation service. It does not modify your site, and it does not act as your accessibility statement.

4.2

Conformance clause

The Vendor does not certify conformance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 or EN 301 549. Automated testing detects a subset of accessibility barriers. The Customer remains the responsible economic operator for its own accessibility statement and conformance declaration.
5

Your obligations

You may only scan domains you operate or have written permission to test. You accept that scans generate real traffic on the target server, and that we honour robots.txt, rate limits and a 250 ms request delay by default.

7

Plans, quota and billing

Billing
Monthly or annual in euro, in advance, through Stripe. Annual pays for ten months.
VAT
Dutch VAT, or reverse charge for VAT-registered customers elsewhere in the EU once VIES validates the number.
Quota
Scheduled scans pause when the monthly page quota is reached. Data, reports and packs stay available.
Cancellation
Effective at the end of the paid period. Scans never stop mid-run.
9

Retention after termination

Sealed evidence packs and generated reports remain downloadable for 24 months after termination. A full export can be requested at any time and is delivered within five working days.

11

Liability

Our liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim. We do not accept liability for an enforcement action against your accessibility statement, because the statement is yours and the declaration is yours.

Governed by Dutch law, courts of Amsterdam. Changes are announced 30 days in advance by mail.
