A free accessibility scanner that names the clause

Most free scanners hand back a score. This one hands back findings mapped to EN 301 549 clauses and WCAG 2.2 AA criteria, with the element, the selector and a screenshot.

What a free scan can honestly tell you

Ten pages, scanned with the same engine and the same rule mapping the paid product uses. The findings are real findings, not a teaser: rule, clause, success criterion, element and a screenshot of it in place.

What it cannot tell you is whether the site conforms. Automated rules see a subset of barriers, and keyboard operation, focus order and screen reader flow need a person. Every score we print carries that sentence next to it.

What arrives, and when

  • Findings mapped to an EN 301 549 clause and a WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion, with the element and a screenshot.
  • A two-page executive summary a client can read without a developer in the room.
  • The two most serious findings in full; the rest are counted and named in a workspace.
  • A note on coverage: automated rules see a subset, and manual verification is required for any claim.

Automated testing covers a subset of accessibility barriers. Manual verification is required for a complete assessment.

Questions before you scan

Is it really free?

Yes, one domain per day, no account and no card. We rate limit and honour robots.txt, and we only scan domains you say you are responsible for.

Do you install anything?

No. There is no script, no overlay and no widget. We load pages the way a browser does and read what is served.

What if the site needs a login?

The free scan only covers public pages. Authenticated states are supported in a workspace, where credentials are stored per site.

Scan a site you look after

One domain, ten pages, no card. If it looks useful, a workspace turns it into weekly monitoring with a sealed evidence pack.
