Why automated testing finds only part of the barriers
Automation is excellent at contrast ratios and missing names. It cannot judge whether alternative text is meaningful. Both matter.
What this means in practice
Automated testing covers a subset of accessibility barriers. Manual verification is required for a complete assessment — which is why every scan in this platform is paired with a documented manual round before anything is signed off.
Where the responsibility sits
The economic operator remains responsible for its own accessibility statement and conformance declaration. Our role is to produce the evidence that statement rests on: mapped findings, a timestamped archive and a regression history that shows what changed between runs.
